Detailed instructions on how to play on our server.
1. Download our client from torrent
» Download CrystalDawn Client
This is a 3.0.9 torrent, we will create a new torrent of 3.1.3 soon.
2. Update your client to 3.1.3 (and no further)!
If you downloaded the client for wow from our latest torrent, you would need the enUS version of the 3.0.9 -> 3.1.3 updaters.
It is also possible to update via the Warcraft Launcher, ensure that you stop updating at version 3.1.3.
3. Point your client at our server
Browse to your World of Warcraft\DATA\enUS directory, (your locale may be different), and edit the file "realmlist.wtf" with a text editor like NotePad on Windows.
Replace the contents of the top line with:
"set realmlist mumble.crystaldawn.net"
4. Create your website account
You will only need one.
» Register Website Account
5. Set your in-game password
After you created and logged in to the website account, you must set your in-game password.
» Edit WoW password
(You must be logged into the website for this link to work)
6. Play!
Please familiarize yourself with our server's rules.
Do not use the Launcher.exe, just start the game with WoW.exe.
If you are unable to connect, check the server status and restart WoW.
